His transition from military munitions expert to dental lab technician sparked a passion for dentistry that led him to earn his bachelor of science from Saint Petersburg College and his doctor of dental medicine from the University of Florida. Recognized for his character and academic excellence, he received the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon ethics award upon graduation.
